Slow is a new artisan store on Agincourt Square in Monmouth, filled with clothing hand-made by rural women artisans in India.
It needed a website built with the same care as the clothes. Quiet, tactile and unhurried, able to carry a three-generation story and let the craft speak for itself.
Slow grew out of a friendship between two families, the Ghose family in Delhi and the Newman family in Monmouth, connected for three generations. At its heart is Sumita Ghose, founder of Rangsutra, a community-owned social enterprise where India’s rural women artisans are not just makers but equal shareholders. Every Slow piece carries that story across the world and onto Agincourt Square.

A calm, full-bleed site with slow, smooth scrolling that lets the photography lead. It tells the families’ story, introduces the makers and shows the craft up close. Even the menu takes its time, sliding in on Slow red.

"Every piece we carry is a celebration of patience and craftsmanship. Designed to be worn, loved, and passed down."
